My name is Shammy, founder of LettuceLady. My journey to starting this business began 14 years ago when I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. At the time, doctors had a hard time finding out what was wrong with me, and was left struggling with my health for years. It wasn't until I decided to focus on eating healthier that things started to turn around for me.

That's where LettuceLady comes in. As someone who is passionate about eating healthy, I wanted to make it easier for others to access fresh, organic produce. In the midst of the pandemic, I saw an opportunity to help my neighbors by supplying farm-fresh lettuce. What started as a one-woman business has now grown to serve nearby villages and communities.

I work closely with the farm staff to ensure that the lettuce we deliver is of the highest quality. We offer a wide variety of lettuce to suit different tastes and preferences, all of which are grown using sustainable practices.

LettuceLady has grown its product line to healthy homemade dressing, homemade no preservative breads, no preservatives deli meat and fish products, no added sugar bottled coconut water, and imported European cheeses to complete a flavorful salad or sandwich.

The name LettuceLady was inspired by a neighbor who was grateful for the fresh greens I supplied regularly. They affectionately called me "my lettuce lady," and the name stuck. It's a reminder that our business is more than just about lettuce; it's about building a community of people who are committed to eating well and living healthy lives.
